Neighborhood Conference, April 6, 2005, 6:30 pm, RMHS Cafeteria Neighborhood Conference This conference is scheduled for Wednesday, April 6, 2005 at 6:30 pm until 9:30 pm in the cafeteria of Richard Montgomery High School, 250 Richard Montgomery Drive. The topic will be "Traffic and Transportation in Rockville" with a particular focus on traffic calming and pedestrian safety. The format of this conference will be a panel discussion followed by various information tables where presenters and other government representatives from City, County and State levels will be available to discuss subjects covered. Neighborhood Conference This Conference is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 23, 2004 at 7 pm until 9:30 pm in the Social Hall of the F. Scott Fitzgerald Theater in Civic Center Park at Edmonston Drive and Baltimore Road. The topic will be on "Development in and around Rockville" and will focus on the location and neighborhood impacts of several proposed and approved projects. The format of this conference will consist of several "cluster stations" and "substations", where projects will be "presented" and discussed. The idea is for residents to have the opportunity to walk around and not only get information about the locations, status and details of each project, but to build relationships with the developer and network with other associations that share interests. Stations will have representatives of the various developers available with maps, site plans, models, etc. Click here for more information Neighborhood Conference A public forum with the Rockville City government was held. The Mayor, all Council Members and
many staff were present to meet and talk about City affairs. The main activity was a
presentation by the Mayor reviewing progress on the Mayor and Council´s 2002-2003 Goals
and the new draft 2004-2005 Goals.
Neighborhood Conference A public forum with Rockville State government representatives (District 17) was held.
State Senator Jeanie Forehand, and State Delegates Kumar Barve, Mike Gordon and Luis Simmons responded to questions posed by ARNA members.
Other local political officials were present.
