Annual Event Offers Hands-On Exhibits to
Interest All Ages
ROCKVILLE, Md., April 15, 2010

Rockville Science Day will offer families the
opportunity to build and launch a rocket, conduct
chemistry experiments and learn about careers in
science as part of the 21st annual event.
Science Day will be held Sunday, April 25, from
noon-5 p.m. at Montgomery College, 51 Mannakee St.
Parking and admission are free.
More than 50 exhibitors will be on hand at the event
to help families enjoy a day of learning and fun.
Participants can learn about the environment,
nature, engineering, technology, health, education,
community services, biotechnology, biology,
chemistry, and computers.
"I'm always excited about the possibilities of
Science Day," said Mayor Phyllis Marcuccio. "We have
more exhibits than ever before. We have plenty for
adults, too."
Rockville Science Day is sponsored by the City of
Rockville, the Rockville Consortium for Science,
Rockville Science Center and Montgomery College.
