In the most recent Gazette, there was no specific mention
of renovations plans beyond FY02, specifically for
RM and College Gardens. However, because of the 90 day
delay in construction bids, Rockville High School
and Lakewood renovations have been delayed which means College Gardens
will more than likely be delayed as well. Consequently, there is nothing to report
on an actual schedule for our elementary and high school renovation plans.
However, if people are interested and have the time,
there will be a County Council meeting on 26 September from 9-5pm related to the budget.
We (Luci Roberts, CGES Gym Committee Chairwoman) will have a three minute time slot
between 9-10am where we will be pushing funding for gyms in all MCPS that do not have gyms.
