     ABOUT TCA

    May 30th Elections: Christina Ginsberg is now President; Michael Glynn is VP; Mary Ann Barnes Secretary;
  Eric Gregrich and Ed Mattos are Members at Large. Thanks to Rich Gottfried for his hard work the last several years!

    Patrons of Rockville's bars and restaurants will no longer be able to smoke in outdoor serving areas in the city,
  following a vote on a prohibition by the Mayor and Council at their Monday, May 22 meeting. Enforcement of the
  smoking/vaping ban will be conducted by the City of Rockville Police Department. Currently, the fine is $1,000 per
  violation, which is the maximum allowed by state law. In October 2015, the Mayor and Council voted unanimously
  to follow Montgomery County code, allowing a countywide ban on smoking and vaping to apply to city property,
  including city parks, community centers, Redgate Golf Course and all city facilities.

   This is an example of the Rk City Police Dept s commitment to building a stronger relationship between citizens and
   law enforcement. This event gives folks an opportunity to ask questions, discuss issues and concerns, and best of all
   to get to know the men and women who are sworn to serve and protect our community. Please join us this Wednesday.
   at "Starbucks"   Town Center Maryland Ave.
   Police want to be a part of the community, not apart from the community.
